The covid 19 pandemic has taken an unprecedented toll on restaurants and the beverage business alike. As we see doors shutter, we can also see an emergence of entrepreneurial spirit with a cause. Chefs, Sommeliers and Florists are adapting to the lockdown in Los Angeles taking to the streets with curbside pickup and local delivery.
In times when we have to socially distance from our friends and family, sending a cute cake over to their home, or a box of handmade dumplings is such a thoughtful out of the box gift idea.  Read below for a few of my favorite small business in Los Angeles creating wine gift boxes, cakes for delivery, charcuterie boards and more..

Little House Confections became the hottest quarantine accessory as claimed by Bazaar. What started as a charitable campaign in her home during Covid-19 to raise money and awareness foe the Covenant Home in California; has now evolved into a brick and mortar business downtown Los Angeles. Each month a portion of profits are donated to a different local charity.  For the month of November 2020, donations are going to the Armenia Fund.
